Just before he became a film director in the '1980's, Greengrass was actually working as a 'documentarian TV director' - he'd spent at least 'ten years' just by 'cutting his teeth' on 'World In Action', which was produced by Granada Television situated on Quay Street, Manchester City Centre - the makers of the forthcoming hit soap opera then known as 'Coronation Street'. These 'short movies' were in fact 'animation horror movies' that he made using 'old dolls', 'artist-dummies' & also 'the general art-room clutter'. screenwriter & journalist & who specializes his unique craft in 'dramatizations' of 'historic events' & is also known for his signature use' of 'hand-held cameras, & it was also while he was at secondary school in the Art department class that he began developing his unique skills-career as a film-maker by using a 'Super 8' camera.
